Road Test

• Road Test at Green Light Location (On-Site)

  Green Light Drivers Ed & DUI School LLC On-Site Road Test is a Certified and approved Road Test service by the Georgia State Department of Driver Services (DDS). Students applying for a Driver's license can take the Test at our school, collect the Completion Certificate upon passing, and pick up their Driver's License at any DDS location at their convenience. The Examiner is a highly experienced Certified Driver Training Instructor at Green Light Drivers ED & DUI School LLC.

  ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  Ages 16 & 17 (Less than 18)

  • Applicant MUST possess a Valid Georgia State Driver's permit OR an Out-of-State permit for AT LEAST 12 months plus 1 day (1 Year and 1 day).
  • Applicant MUST have completed the Georgia State Department of Driver Services approved 30-Hour Driver's Ed Training Course (Joshua's Law)  with our Driving School, any Certified School, or the Online self-paced.
  • Applicant MUST present a Certificate of Completion of a minimum of 6-Hour Behind-The-Wheel driving training with Green Light Drivers Ed & DUI School LLC ONLY. (By the Regulation, we cannot accept a Certificate of Completion of such training from another driving school) to be eligible for our On-Site Testing.
  • To be eligible for our on-site road tests, the applicant's Georgia Learner's Permit MUST not have expired for more than two years. We cannot test applicants with a permit that has expired for more than 2 years.

  Ages 18 and above

  • Applicant MUST possess a Valid Georgia State Driver's permit OR an Out-of-State permit to be eligible for the On-Site Testing.
  • Applicant must have completed 6 hours of Behind-The-Wheel with our Driving School to qualify for our On-Site Road testing.

  RULES:

  • All applicants must arrive at our school location, 6110 McFarland Station Drive, Ste. 703, Alpharetta, GA 30004, at least 20 Minutes before the scheduled test time to complete all documentation.
  • Any appointment cancellation MUST be done at least 24 hours before the Scheduled Date Time; otherwise, Charges will apply.   
  • Appointment Rescheduling can only be done the following week, subject to availability. Any applicant who does not complete enrollment before noon on Fridays will NOT be TESTED that week; testing will resume the following week.
  • All eligibility criteria apply, and the affected applicants must present their GA DDS-issued Permits, Joshua Law Certificate of Completion, and Certificate of Completion of the 6-hour Behind-The-Wheel Training Course to complete all documentation before testing.
  • Any Applicant who arrives 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time will not be tested. The applicant may reschedule at least a week after the scheduled date. 
  • Applicants under 18 must be accompanied to our Test location by a Parent or Responsible Adult with a valid driver's license.
  • Road Tests are conducted in English ONLY.
